Women’s Winter Retreat Jan 12-15

This women-only retreat offers the signing community a connection with nature, mindfulness practices, and a chance to unplug. Includes lodging, meals, snowshoes/poles, potential nordic skiing option and opportunities to connect. ($300)

A mountain getaway weekend offering the signing community winter activities including a snowshoe outing, potential nordic skiing option, mindfulness practices and playful opportunities to connect in nature with others.  ($300)

Families in Nature: Meadow Camp March 22- 24

Parents, caregivers, deaf, hard of hearing children and siblings can start or end your spring break with other families in a mutually supportive environment at the Aspen Camp and throughout its beautiful natural surroundings. Experience late winter/early spring outings and play, build a snow fort, do art projects, explore the woods and ski area activities, full signing environment. 

($275 for family of 2, $60 each additional)

Spring & Summer

Job Skills Training Camp May 2024

For D/HH students ages 16-20 – School partnerships only
Students, accompanied by their teachers and transition program staff, learn a variety of job skills related to outdoor recreation, basic construction, facility maintenance, culinary arts and more. Workshops prepare students for how to step into the workforce with greater confidence, personal advocacy while making new friends from neighboring states. Inquire via office@aspencamp.org.

Pride Weekend June 28-30

The Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing invites those who are part of its diverse LGBTQ community to join the weekend on a mountain retreat, in a safe and welcoming place with others who accept, honor and understand different perspectives and life choices. While Colorado celebrates in different ways around the state, our local mountain communities and our Camp participants will have opportunity to join in fun and creative expressions of themselves, have time outdoors and be mutually inspired by others. Parents, caregivers, deaf, hard of hearing children and siblings will interact with other families in a mutually supportive, signing environment. Camp activities will include outdoor skill building, hiking, nature arts and crafts, drama, play and making new community connections. Interpreters provided where needed.

$600 for family of 2 / $80 each additional family member

$1,000 for family of 2 / $120 each additional family member

Family KODA Youth Camp July 19-22

Deaf and/or hard of hearing parents and/or caregivers whose children need an opportunity to connect with other families in a mutually supportive, signing environment. Camp activities will include outdoor skill building, hiking, nature crafts, art projects, drama, play and making new community connections. Age appropriate groupings will allow for sharing life experiences to build a greater sense of self with other KODA participants.

$600 for family of 2 / $80 each additional family member

ASL/ Deaf Culture Immersion Camp  July 25-29 

(Ages 18+) 

Experience the world of American Sign Language, fully step into Deaf culture while enjoying the environment of the Aspen Camp’s 17 acres along Snowmass Creek.

This program is designed for ASL students, interpreting students, parents, caregivers, family members, public school employees and interpreters, or any adult who wishes to enhance their receptive and expressive ASL skills.

Adult Fly Fishing Weekend August 16-18

Learning casting techniques, essential knots, and insider tips from expert instructors in the valley. Including meals and cozy accommodations at Aspen Camp for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
