We mourn the loss of a great Deaf artist today. Chuck Baird is finally in peace after a long battle with cancer. He was a great role model to many as he changed art in the eyes of the Deaf community, established a foundation to help rising Deaf artists, and provided warm stories and hugs to many. We will miss him.
Chuck Baird has passed away this morning. We will sorely miss him and we will think of him in our hearts. – February 22, 1947 – February 10, 2012
